At Baruch College my teaching portfolio includes courses in ethics, moral psychology, Chinese philosophy, philosophy of religion, and experimental philosophy. In 2022, I was honored to receive Baruch College's highest teaching accolade for full-time faculty: the Presidential Excellence Award for Distinguished Teaching.
At the CUNY Graduate Center I teach seminars focused on themes and texts in the Chinese tradition. Our program is one of the highest ranked in the English speaking world. In recent years I have also taught interested graduate students how to get basic competency at reading the classical Chinese language.
